Unbelievable! By this Sunday, just three days after the Friday 3G iPhone release, Apple says they had already sold one million 3G iPhones. Compare this to the 74 days it took the first-generation iPhone to sell one million units and it’s definitely an understatement to it was an impressive opening weekend for Apple. Of course the original iPhone didn’t launch in 21 countries on the same day, but jaw-dropping nonetheless. The new iPhone App Store that launched last Thursday with just over 500 apps and now offering over 800, has already had 10 million downloads. About 200 of the applications are free and 90% of them are priced under $10.
