Acer has just announced the Tempo Smartphone Series including four new handsets: the X960, the F900, the M900, and the DX900.
The Acer X960 sports pre-installed GPS software and an embedded SiRFStarIII GPS chip, 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen, Windows Mobile 6.1, a 3.2 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and full 3G support.
Acer’s F900 has a larger 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels, WinMo 6.1, a 3 megapixel auto focus camera, 3G, GPS, and G/L sensors.
The M900 opts for a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen but also includes a slide-out QWERTY keypad. Other features include WinMo 6.1, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 5 megapixel camera and fingerprint reader.
Finally, the Acer DX900 which we’ve seen recently is actually a dual-SIM smartphone that supports 2G and 3G SIM cards. It apparently has a 2.8-inch touch display, WinMo 6.1, a 3 megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
Some of these specs might be inaccurate as there were quite a few discrepancies on Acer’s website, so I’ll fix as they are updated.
