Pictures of Acer’s rumored DX650 and X960 smartphones have leaked ahead of the expected announcement at next week’s Mobile World Congress.

The Acer DX650 is said to run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, sports a 240 x 320 pixel, 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen on one side, and a 1.2-inch OLED display above a numeric keypad on the other side. I’m not so sure I’ll be a big fan of that form factor–seems kinda’ complicated! Other features supposedly include GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot.
Acer’s X960 supposedly sports the same OS, GPS, and Wi-Fi as the DX650, but has a standard form factor with a 640 x 480 pixel, 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen and a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash.
We’ll keep a look out for these two GPS-packin’ Acer’s come Barcelona.
