If you own either the Alpine iXA-W404 or the Alpine IVA-W505 audio/video head units and have been looking for a navigation solution, look no more.  The company has announced the NVE-M300 GPS Navigation Drive, a slightly more than 4 x 4 x 1 inch black box GPS module that integrates with the above-mentioned head units.

The NVE-M300 features Alpine’s OnPoint Advanced GPS positioning system, an accelerometer and gyroscope, voice-guided turn-by-turn directions, text-to-speech, one-way street icons, and highway junction views.  Pre-loaded NAVTEQ maps of the United States and Canada are also included bringing with a database of 6 million points of interest.

The Alpine NVE-M300 GPS Navigation Drive costs $450, while the 4.3-inch iXA-W404 and 7-inch IVA-W505 cost $550 and $1100, respectively.
