Right behind Apple’s announcement that 10, 000 applications have been accepted to the iTune’s app store, the company took out ads in both the Wall Street Journal and New York Times this morning highlighting the 300 million app download milestone. It’s an impressive number considering that Apple reported 200 million downloads of 5, 500 applications near the end of October. As developers become more comfortable coding for the iPhone, I’m sure this number will skyrocket in 2009.
