Asus R70 UMPC

Check out the new Asus R70 UMPC, featuring a 7-inch screen and a built-in GPS receiver.  Just unleashed at the ongoing ceBIT conference, the Asus R70 is powered by an Intel Menlow DDR2 667MHz DRAM processor, runs on Windows Vista, and supports ultra high speed 3.5G internet.  It even has a built-in dual webcam and fingerprint data protection to secure any stored media on the 120GB HDD!

Asus P320Asus also officially announced their new SiRFStar III GPS-equipped PDA, the Asus P320.  Full specs are below:

  • SiRFStar III integrated GPS receiver
  • Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900), GPRS and EDGE
  • TI OMAP 850 processor at 200 MHz
  • TFT LCD screen with 65K colors 320×240 resolution
  • 128 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM

  • Mini USB
  • microSD port
  • 2MP digital camera
  • Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional

It will be available in April or May and the price should be around 300 €.
