There’s no shortage of strange map-based mashups and applications floating through the intertubes, but Shark Attack from Platial caught my eye because it’s also a MySpace application. In a nutshell, Shark Attack is an open map of shark attack locations across the world since 2000. I guess surviving a shark attack is worthy of bragging rights on a MySpace profile.
