iPhone 3GS Augmented Reality from Chris Hughes on Vimeo.
This unnamed iPhone 3GS augmented reality application, developed by hacker Chris Hughes, uses the iPhone’s camera to locate you family and friends. It also shows how far away a person is, shows their picture and allows you to make a call with only two clicks.
Unfortunately, because the app taps into the private CameraController.framework, Apple won’t accept this into the App Store. If you want to try it out, send @chews a message on Twitter and he’ll get it to you pronto.
