The Azentek SmartMirror launched in August 2008 but it appear the company waited for CES 2009 to make it official. Powered by Navigon software, the SmartMirror has a touchscreen, preloaded maps on an SD card, Bluetooth-compatibility, and plenty of points of interest. When it’s not in use it looks just like a typical rearview–not exactly money-making fodder for thieves. For the driving-impaired, the SmartMirror can hook up to a back-up camera or collision avoidance system. The current SmartMirror is 4 inches wide and costs $800. A 4.3-inch version is coming sometime in the summer of 2009.
