The mobile phone/GPS convergence is now well underway and its looks like two new Blackberry 9000 models will be hitting Verizon in May 2009. The first model, the Blackberry 9000 Niagara EV-DO device, features aGPS, a 480 x 360 LCD screen, QWERTY keyboard, 4.7 OS platform, 3.2 megapixel camera, BES 5.0 support for HTML emails, and a Qualcomm MSM7600 processor. The second device is the Blackberry 9000 Javelin quad-band GSM/EDGE handset featuring GPS, a 480 x 360 LCD screen, Wi-fi, QWERTY keyboard, 4.6 OS platform, BES 5.0 support, 3.2 megapixel camera, and a ArgonV processor. Awesome, but May 2009? That’s so damn far away!
