blackberry app world Blackberry App World launches

It’s been a long wait for Blackberry junkies like me, but Research In Motion has officially launched Blackberry App World this morning.  Similar to the iPhone App Store in terms of organization, Blackberry App World is available for download straight from your Blackberry–you need a trackball–or via your desktop.  At launch it’s only available in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom and you’ll need a Paypal account to pay for apps.  Remember there are no $0.99 apps in the Blackberry App World.  They’re either free or $2.99 and up.  Some of the featured apps at the moment are Shazam, Bloomberg News, Pandora and Salesforce, so there’s some good stuff here.  Hopefully later today I’ll have a comprehensive hands-on posted, but in the meantime you can post your thoughts in the forums.
