It has been a long time since we’ve heard anything about the Blackberry Niagara and its eventual home with Verizon, but a BGR tipster has recently spilled a few more details about the Javelin sibling.
The Niagara is rumored to sport a 624 MHz Qualcomm MSM7600 CPU, 480 x 360 pixel LCD display, QWERTY keyboard, EVDO Rev. A, assisted GPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera, Blackberry 4.6 OS, and BES 5.0 support. While the new informant didn’t supply a release date, it appears the Niagara will still appear sometime in May.
In other Verizon news, the Hub home phone will be getting an upgrade tomorrow to support streaming radio, the Blackberry Apex 8230 looks like it’ll be available soon, and the company is rumored to be selling the 10-inch HP Mini for $99 with a 2-year broadband plan in May.
