Back in May we first heard about the GPS-sportin’ Blackberry Javelin, rumored to hit Verizon in May of 2009. Since then a series of leaked pics have kept interest high and the latest photos are definitely going to keep the Javelin craze going. The apparent successor to the Blackberry Curve, the Javelin model has had a series of model numbers tossed around starting with 9000, then moving to 8900, 8301, 9300 and now back to 8900. The specs have changed a little since the original spyshots appeared too. The latest list of features, in addition to GPS, includes:
- 512 MHz processor
- 256 MB onboard flash memory
- high speed USB
- 480 x 360 pixel HVGA+ display
- microSD slot
- WiFi b/g with UMA
- 3.2 megapixel camera
The only disappointment so far is the lack of 3G data transfer…but c’mon now, at least it has GPS right? Don’t forget to click on the thumbnails below to see more pics.
