I’m not exactly sure what to think of the Bluepeaker GPS-enabled Bluetooth speaker, but the company behind it doesn’t seem to be very design capable.  Not only are these FCC pictures of the device just plain ugly, but the company’s webpage is nothing but an Apache install notification.  Aside from that, the Bluepeaker is an 8 centimeter wide puck with an embedded SiRF GPS chip that enables the device to act as an external GPS receiver for smartphones and laptops.  It allows the user to make and receive calls over Bluetooth with voice dialing and reversing the process, lets you stream audio over Bluetooth from another device through the Bluepeaker’s 2 Watt speaker.  One upside to the Bluetooth GPS device is the 1200 mAh battery which provides 10 hours of continuous talk time and 200 hours of standby life.  No word yet regarding price and availability.
