Boston cabs get serious taxi technology including passenger-controlled GPS

pim in car Boston cabs get serious taxi technology including passenger controlled GPS

The Boston Cab Dispatch, owner of over 500 cabs in the Boston area, will be bringing some serious entertainment options to its passengers thanks to a deal with New York-based Creative Mobile Technologies (CMT).  The new passenger experience is based on CMT’s FREEdom Solution and will include a backseat credit card payment system using the company’s Passenger Information Monitor (PIM).  It’ll also provide local news and media content and even GPS-powered maps that can be controlled using PIM’s touchscreen.  Anyone want to hit Boston with me for a cab ride?
