Now this is a watch. The Protrek PRX-2000T from Casio Japan, only 11.3mm thin and featuring a carbide-coated titanium band and bezel, is built tough for the outdoor adventure crowd.

While it doesn’t have GPS, it does have a triple sensor to measure temperature, altitude, direction and atmospheric pressure, as well as reception for all six of the world’s time calibration signals.

Of course you’ll pay for quality, to the tune of $1, 000 when it hits stores in Japan April 1. And to make sure the price tag stays right where it is, Casio will only produce 500 PRX-2000T’s per month. We’ll have to wait and see if the new Protrek watch treks outside of Japanese borders.
