Clarion MiND fails to impress yet another reviewer

clarion mind review Clarion MiND fails to impress yet another reviewer

Everyone seems to want to try out Clarion’s MiND these days, a portable GPS device that is more or less branded as a portable media player.  Now I won’t go into all of the media-playing details, but let’s just say an 800 MHz processor didn’t cut it according to this reviewer.  On the other hand, the user interface and GPS was “absolutely fantastic.”  With accurate NAVTEQ maps, intuitive destination search and route planning, and timely rerouting and voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation.  To sum up the MiND’s navigation functionality, the reviewer says “Clarion did an extremely nice job here.”  I’ll let you read the rest of the review yourself–it’s nice and comprehensive–but all in all with comparable features from other devices that cost a whole lot less, the MiND is probably a device to steer clear of.
