We saw one or two interesting Android devices at CES, but nothing mind-blowing, as Engadget points out. Compulab’s exeda would’ve done some damage though. Designed for the enterprise market, the exeda has a 3.5-inch, reflective, VGA touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard and a capacitive touchpad smack-dab in the middle of the handheld that acts as a mouse. The Android-phone can also run Windows Mobile 6.1, enabling some impressive flexibility for business users. Inside is a 520 MHz Marvell processor, 128 MB of RAM, and it works damn near anywhere. Resellers have their choice of quad-band GSM/GPRS/CDMA/3G UMTS, not to mention a 10/100Base-T Ethernet port and Wi-Fi. Wow. No clue how much the exeda costs but it’s expected to go live in March.
