LBS provider deCarta will launching its CNAV connected navigation platform in Europe at the end of March. According to GPS Business News, real-time traffic information will be provided by ARC Europe while RoadPilot will provide a safety camera database. Wireless connectivity will be provided by Jasper Wireless as it is in the United States, and thank goodness for the connectivity. It’s up to the user to find most of the content for the platform. deCarta doesn’t provide POI’s, so looking for restaurants, local nightlife, or the nearest hotel is up to you.
