The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 may have a few things on the Mini 12 if a leaked slideshow on Photobucket is reliable. While we previously though the Inspiron Mini 10 sported a 1.6 GHz Atom chip, and it does, it also has the option of a 1.33 GHz Atom. The slideshow further shows that the Mini 10 adds a 1024 x 576 LCD display option to the already known 1366 x 768 pixels. In terms of storage capacity, the Mini 10 downright beats the Mini 12 with a minimum 120 GB hard drive versus the maximum 80 GB drive offered by the Mini 12.
The Inspiron Mini 10 will also have an edge-to-edge keyboard to make typing easier, a multitouch trackpad, Wi-Fi, a built-in TV tuner, and optional 3G and GPS. The basic Mini 10 model will have 1 GB of RAM, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and a 3-cell battery that will power the netbook for 3 to 4 hours. I’m sure there will be a six-cell option available. Dell will offer new lid designs allowing for some added customization, including Gecko Green and Picasso.
Unfortunately Dell still hasn’t released a price tag or a release date, but I’m guessing sometime in the first quarter.
