Okay, so it doesn’t have WiBro, but if you’re alright without the internet telephony, the dmedia G400 WiMAX mobile internet device does offer…yes you guessed it, WiMAX. Not to mention the option of a 3.8- or 4.3-inch touchscreen, and a SiRFprima GPS chipset with an ARM11 core, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, Bluetooth, mobile video conferencing, VoIP, and NextWave’s MXtv mobile broadcast service. That’s not it though: it has 3D graphics acceleration, video decoding, and a microSD slot though built-in memory specs are unknown. Watch for the dmedia G400 WiMAX MID in the first half of 2009, probably with a debut at CES 2009 in Las Vegas…just not in North America (the release of course).
