Despite the ‘LBS’ in the title, this likely applies to any iPhone application. Erica Sadun, a writer at Ars Technica, has a friend that on more than one occasion has had an application rejected by Apple. Apparently for reasons that stemmed from the subjective opinion of the reviewer, i.e., reasons not found in Apple’s terms of app development.
But here’s the kicker. Sadun’s friend decided to resubmit the latest rejected application without any changes made. The exact same application was accepted by Apple and is now for sale in the app store. I’m not exactly sure what application it is, but the lesson is clear: LBS app rejection or otherwise, simply try again. Persistence seems to count in the world of iPhone application submissions.
