FineDigital’s FineDrive Bio Gets Speech Recognition Support

The FineDrive Bio, from FineDigital, is the first speech recognition-enabled device headed for Korea.  Sporting a SiRF V5 chipset and 900MHz Dual Core CPU, the FineDrive Bio uses FineSR (Fine Speech Recognizer) technology developed by ETRI and a database of 450, 000 words allowing you search for locations with speech.  An impressively sized 7-inch LCD screen offers 800 x 480 resolution, and other features include DMB mobile TV support, dual maps, dual SD card slots and a USB port.  Hitting Korea July 7, the FineDrive Bio comes in 2GB and 4GB models priced at 499, 000 KRW (US$475) and 549, 000 KRW (US$520) respectively.
