Fusion CA-IP500 aftermarket stereo gets your dashboard iPod-ready

A GPS navigation system is nothing without a great in-car stereo system.  The Fusion Electronics CA-IP500 could be the perfect companion to your Garmin.  Especially if you’re a big iPod user.  The aftermarket system slides into your dash, and in turn has a slot itself you can slide any newer iPod model in.  Scroll-wheel models won’t work, but slide in any newer model–including the iPod Touch–and you can use the CA-IP500’s knob controls to navigate through your tunes.  Of course, given the huge amount of songs newer iPod’s can store, a single knob might not be the best solution.  The Fusion website lists the CA-IP500 for $399, but Best Buy has a more reasonable price tag of $250.
