(UPDATED: GammaTech doesn’t seem to know what product they launched yesterday.  A revised release today says the RT10 should actually be the MT10.)

GammaTech has announced its DURABOOK MT10 tablet PC today with Intel Health technology.  The rugged, 10.4-inch touchscreen tablet is built for mobile health professionals, with military-grade resistance to shock, humidity and temperature extremes.  It’s also resistant to common disinfectants such as alcohol, iodine and bleach.

With dimensions of 270 x 256 x 35.3 millimeters and weighing 3.3 pounds, the DURABOOK MT10 includes an Intel U2100 ultra low voltage processor and either Windows Vista Tablet PC Edition or Windows Vista Business Edition along with a 60 GB hard drive.  Built-in is a stereo microphone and 2 megapixel webcam as well as both WLAN and Bluetooth radios.  And while the MT10 doesn’t appear to have GPS, it does have both an optional RFID and barcode reader, and a fingerprint scanner.  It also features a dual hot-swappable battery that runs for 5 hours continuously.

The GammaTech DURABOOK MT10 is now available with pricing depending on the configuration.
