Garmin announced a slightly wider version of the Garmin nuvi 260 today called the nuvi 26oW with a screen that measures 4.3 inches. Features for the most part are similar to the original 260 including text-to-speech, voice-prompted directions, a full database of maps of the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, and over 6 million points of interest. Priced at $400, waiting 3-4 months before purchasing the new 260W, probably saving you around $100.
