Garmin has teamed up with BMW Motorrad to unveil the next-generation BMW Motorrad Navigator, the Navigator IV.  Based on the Garmin Zumo 660, the Navigator IV is motorcycle-friendly with a 4.3-inch “glove-friendly” touchscreen, voice-guided turn-by-turn directions, A2DP Bluetooth, a four button, quick key functioning motorcycle mount, and all the music playback you can handle on a bike.  Maps and points of interest are, of course, preloaded and the Navigator IV is built to IPX-7 waterproof standards, as well as to withstand oil splashes and UV rays.  Oh, and we can’t forget the database of BMW dealers across North America and Europe, where the Navigator IV will be available in the third quarter of 2009 for an as yet undisclosed price.
