Over at IFA in Berlin, TrustedReviews got some snapshots of the latest Garmin nuviphone prototypes. Pictures were about the extent of any nuviphone interaction though, as Garmin had three prototype models locked behind glass. iPhone-like in design, although maybe a little thicker, we’d have to say that the nuviphone is a heck of alot prettier than the latest shots of Android-powered HTC Dream/G1. According to Garmin officials at the electronics conference, Garmin is aiming for an April 2009 release after the latest delay, blaming carrier demands and a few operating system glitches (which we assume aren’t quite fixed yet, hence the glass case protection).
