General Electric introduced their 2008 line-up of digital cameras yesterday, including the E1050 with GPS-capability. The E1050 actually features a built-in GPS receiver so photographers, amateur and professional alike, can track exactly where they were when they took their favorite pictures. The GE E1050 digital camera also features smile and blink detection that allow camera users to avoid pictures with closed eyes and crooked smiles, as well as HD movie recording, HDTV playback for both movies and pictures, and an easy-to-use touchscreen that eliminates many of the buttons resulting in a sleeker, better-looking camera. The 10 megapixel E1050 also has a 28mm wide angle lens and 5X zoom for an MSRP of only $249.99, much less than other cameras with similarly advanced features.
