GeoEye, the company behind the now famous GeoEye-1 satellite that snapped some amazing pictures of Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration, has decided to enter the poster publishing industry. Well, kind of.
Given the fact that the company’s web page traffic increased 100 times the usual after the media published the satellite photographs, GeoEye has decided to capitalize on the opportunity and begin selling posters of the famous satellite shots for $29.99 each. Titled the “Presidential Inauguration From Space”, the 23 x 35 inch poster can be tacked on the wall to remind you everyday that it’s time for change.
