The NCC and Goodyear are teaming up to release a Goodyear-branded GPS aimed at truck and RV drivers.  The 4.3-inch GY500X will feature Bluetooth, an FM transmitter, commercial routes, height, weight, and weight/axle restrictions, and specialized points of interest like weigh stations, diesel gas stations, and truck stops.  The GY500X will apparently offer features beyond a commercial mode, which I’m assuming means it’ll have everyday driving features as well.  Right now there’s no information regarding price or specific release date available, but it looks like you’ll be able to pick the GY500X up for your big rig sometime in the first quarter of 2009.
