I’ve always been a big fan of Google’s ‘release early, release often’ approach to product development. I just think it’s the best way to eventually create a blow-everyone-away product at maximum cost-efficiency. The one problem it causes though, is a disconnect between Google products that at times can be irritating.
That said, it’s nice to see the Google has announced its Chrome browser finally supports the Google Earth API plugin on Windows. While I admit that most of us use Google Earth as a standalone product, the API does let Chrome users download plugin apps from the browser. Want to see a cool example? Try out Monster Milktruck!
