In cooperation with webcams.travel, Google Maps now has a webcam layer. In effect, Google Maps users can access thumbnails of webcam shots across the globe by clicking on the “More” at the top right of the map. The webcams are tracked by Webcams.travel and while you don’t see actual video, you will see the latest still shot. It has its uses I suppose, though I can’t think of any at the moment.
