GottaPark: Another Bid By San Francisco To Streamline The Parking Process
The city of San Francisco is determined to do away with unused parking spots and the time wasted looking for them. A new service, just launched a couple days back, called GottaPark matches up those with unused parking space with those looking for a parking spot. If you happen to be the owner of parking space in the city, you can register your lot with GottaPark along with rates and hours of availability. It costs the parking provider nothing and if that’s you, you’re responsible for setting your own rates. Those looking for parking can simply log onto the website via their laptop, PDA, mobile phone, etc., and search for parking near the location they’d like to park. They pay the rate determined by the parking provider plus an additional fee of $0.60 if the spot costs less than $5 and 15% of the spot costs more than $5.
