Pharos Starts Pre-CES Buzz With Trips & Pics Announcement

GPS functionality on your digital camera…wow! Pharos decided to start some pre-CES buzz yesterday by announcing Trips & Pics, a geo-logger that actually brings GPS to your digital camera. Trips & Pics include a Pharos iGPS-500 receiver and a pocket-size battery unit that’ll record details such as time, location, speed, and heading and allows you to define how often the receiver logs information, from every second to every 5 minutes. This data is then exportable to your PC where you can view your trip route on apps such as Goople Maps. Pharos Trips & Pics will be available later this month for $89.95.
