Kombitz has put together an unlocking guide for the American version Navigon 2100 v4.2 navigation device, based on a similar unlock for the Mio 230 v4.1. You’ll have to read the article (and don’t blame me if your 2100 dies on you while you’re in the process of voiding its warranty), but the 2100 hack lets you add all kinds of applications, from navigational to games, to the PND’s interface. It also provides a skin switcher, and if you don’t like the changes once the unlocking script is in place you can reverse the process too.
