Magellan Triton, Explorist Handhelds Get AccuTerra Maps

Magellan Triton-models 400, 500, 1500, and 2000-and eXplorist-models 400, 500, 600, and XL-handheld GPS models will now feature AccuTerra Maps from Intermap Technologies providing outdoorsy types topographic maps and off-road points of interest such as campgrounds, landmarks and service facilities. A land management data layer also separates public land from private property for most America recreational landscapes. The maps are downloadable from the Magellan website for use this summer for all lower 48 US states and Hawaii but they’ll set you back $59.99.
