Mio’s Knight Rider GPS Gets Release Date, More Details

When we first told you about Mio’s fancy looking Knight Rider GPS unit a couple of days back, we couldn’t find a whole lot of details about it. But now Mio has came out and given the world an official release date of August 8, pricing the unit at $269. Sure enough it will feature the voice of William Daniels, KITT from Knight Rider, and according to Crave, “there will be a database of names so you can customize the device to have KITT personally greet and talk to you (provided that your name is included)”. Mio still hasn’t released an official spec sheet yet, but expect the navigational features to be similar to the Mio Moov 310/300, sans real-time traffic. Oh, we can’t wait!
