Pioneer CYBER NAVI AVIC-VH9000, AVIC-ZH9000, AVIC-H9000: HDD-Based Japanese Car GPS Navigation Systems
Pioneer’s new HDD-based CYBER NAVI GPS lineup features 3 new units: the AVIC-VH9000, AVIC-ZH9000 and AVIC-H9000. The AVIC-VH9000 is a 1-DIN+1-DIN DSP-control AV navigation auto server with a 7-inch wide VGA touchscreen and digital terrestrial TV tuner. The AVIC-ZH9000 is a 2-DIN DSP-control AV navigation auto server also with a 7-inch touchscreen and digital TV tuner. The AVIC-H9000 is 1-DIN navigation system with no built-in monitor.
All three units feature some pretty advanced features including 3 years of free data updates, Smart Loop Drive Report, a flat rate data communications service, and high-end search features. The AVIC-VH9000 and AVIC-ZH9000 also boast some cool AV capabilities such as a Video Server Function that’ll convert popular video codecs such as MPEG4 into DivX files for storage in the unit’s memory. 1-seg TV viewers also have a time-shifting feature that allows viewers to move back 10 minutes into a TV show.
The AVIC-VH9000, AVIC-ZH9000, and AVIC-H9000 are expected to be released late May in Japan priced at 378,000 yen (US$3640), 357,000 yen (US$3440), and 189,000 yen (US$1821) respectively.
