HP has announced a bunch of new netbooks in the past few weeks, but it’s the unannounced Mini 1100 series that has arrived first on the company’s website. The followup series to HP’s first netbook, the Mini 1000, announced last October, the Mini 1100 series actually consists of four models which vary little in the spec department but have slightly different aesthetics.
The Mini 1133CL, Mini 1135NR, Mini 1140NR, and Mini 1141NR all feature a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU with 1 GB of RAM, and Intel GMA950 graphics. All four models also have the same 4, 200 RPM 60 GB hard disk drive, 10.1-inch display, Wi-Fi, HD audio, webcam and integrated microphone, and an ExpressCard slot with support for /34 and /54 cards.
The Mini 1135NR and Mini 1140NR also sport Bluetooth connectivity, while the Mini 1141NR includes a Vivienne Tam sleeve making it the prettiest one of the bunch.
There are no prices or shipping dates posted yet, but given the specs are, I’m guessing we’ll see the Mini 1100 series ship soon.
