HTC Dream hits Singapore, Australia

HTC’s Dream, also known as the T-Mobile G1, will be released soon in Singapore and Australia.  The Android-based Dream will have all the features of the G1 including a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, five row QWERTY keyboard, trackball, 3/3.5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera, and access to the Android Market and the usual Google tools.  No release dates are available but Australia’s Optus network will charge between AU$3 and AU$51 per month for the phone, depending on the contract.  Contracts range between AU$59 and AU$129 per month with 12 month and 24 month options available.  Under T-Mobile, the G1 has recently started its roll out in Europe.
