HTC has blown all of its previous touchscreen devices out of the spectrumsphere with the introduction of the HTC MAX 4G today. The production version of the T8290, the MAX 4G shares the same 3.8-inch, 800×480 screen as the Touch HD, but supports 4G WiMAX. Unfortunately, though Sprint’s XOHM network could support the MAX 4G, the device is headed only to Russia’s Scartel November 26, supported by the country’s Yota WiMAX network.
The HTC MAX 4G also has GSM support for plain ol’ phone calls, VoIP support, 8GB of built-in storage, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a 5 megapixel camera.
