When it comes to innovative mobile handset designs, HTC takes the cake and their latest S740 slider phone is no exception to the rule. Running on Windows Mobile 6.1 and powered by a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, the HTC S740 has a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 2.4-inch QVGA display, 256MB of RAM and a 3.2 megapixel camera. Not only does is the S740 compatible with all four GSM bands and 900 and 2100 MHz UMTS bands, it also offers full support for 3G HSDPA. Other features of note include assisted GPS, WiFi, and HTC’s proprietary ExtUSB port combining USB 2.0 and an audio jack. Look for the HTC S740 to hit the European continent in September for an unknown-as-of-yet price tag.
