iriver’s CaroNavi GPS Hits Japan In Time For Christmas

Just in time for Christmas, iriver is releasing the CaroNavi, the company’s latest portable navigation system for Japan.  The CaroNavi has a 3.5-inch LCD touch display, 2 GB of flash memory, an SD card slot, bike/motorcycle mode, and support for MP3 / WMA / OGG audio files plus WMV video files.  Equipped with Edia’s MAPLUS software, the CaroNavi has a database of 800 million telephone numbers and will be available in two-tone silver and black.  Apparently you can pre-order the CaroNavi now in Japan, ahead of the December 19 official release date when it will cost 29, 800 Yen.
