Man, I had no idea Welsh schoolkids were so bad. Thanks to poor school attendance and antisocial behavior, particularly on school buses, six Welsh counties led by Denbighshire CC have initiated a project called Star. The project will equip school buses with GPS and card swipe technology so all county schoolkids can be tracked. When a child gets on a bus, the card is swiped, enabling schools to know who is being bad or skipping. Then the parents are called. Ouch!
