VIA finally managed to get a Nano into a netbook, according to a leaked user manual on Samsung UK’s website. This has been rumored for a while, but seems to confirm that Samsung’s NC20 netbook will opt for a 1.3 GHz VIA Nano processor in place for the often-used Intel Atom. The 12-inch netbook will use a 6-cell battery and has a front-facing SD slot. Details in the manual are minimal, but Electronista believes the NC20 will also have 1 GB of RAM and a 160 GB hard drive. Early release listings on a French e-commerce site price the Samsung NC20 at 425 euros after tax, or roughly $500 US.
