LG Electronics will be debuting a wristwatch-style 3G phone at CES 2009 in Las Vegas next month. The LG-GD910 is based on a prototype watch that was shown at CES 2008 and will first go on sale in Europe. Launch details likely won’t be available until CES, but Network World reports that the LG-GD910 has a 1.4-inch touchscreen watch face and buttons on the side of the “watch” to control all the functions. The WCDMA phone supports 7.2 Mbps HSDPA networks, has a small camera for video calls, Bluetooth, MP3 playback, text-to-speech, and a speakerphone. The LG-GD910 is waterproof too.
