gsmarena 003 LG KS500 Gets Assisted GPS With Vodafone

LG’s KS500 should be hitting the North American market sometime in the near future, but right now Vodafone’s got the assisted GPS-enabled QVGA touchscreen phone ready to roll across the long pond.  The slider phone packs tri-band GSM connectivity, dual-band UMTS/HSDPA support, preloaded Yahoo! Go maps, 100 MB of built-in memory, a 3 megapixel camera, and a microSD card slot in case 100 MB isn’t enough.  Vodafone will officially roll it out sometime this quarter, and given its trek through the FCC back in August we should see it in the United States sometime soon after.
