When I first saw Google Earth I was quite impressed. Then i realized the images are not to date so I started using Google maps instead. It's a good service but it doesn't offer enough options. I'll take a look at Skyhook. Your review made me real curious about their plug-in.
___________
Mathew Farney - Web Hosting

I understand what locally aware means, but such a feature is useful only if the user requires it being used. I mean that sometimews I want specific results from a specific geo-region, but I do not have that feature in a search engine. It would be great to have such a feature implemented, but in the manner that would allow the user to turn it on/off or select the "geo-result" he wants.
_______________________________________________
Dedicated Servers

I think we might be able to benefit from this plugin as we are in the process of relaunching our local marketing service, to take advantage of the local hyper search space. Watch this space. http://www.pointlocal.com
