When I first saw Google Earth I was quite impressed. Then i realized the images are not to date so I started using Google maps instead. It's a good service but it doesn't offer enough options. I'll take a look at Skyhook. Your review made me real curious about their plug-in.

I understand what locally aware means, but such a feature is useful only if the user requires it being used. I mean that sometimews I want specific results from a specific geo-region, but I do not have that feature in a search engine. It would be great to have such a feature implemented, but in the manner that would allow the user to turn it on/off or select the "geo-result" he wants.
