Mapcom Systems has officially launched the M4 GPS Suite, a Geographic Operations Management software suite that enables telecom providers to track data flows in a map-based geographic view.
Developed to allow telecommunications providers to offer hosted services to residential and business customers, the M4 GPS Suite includes tools for fleet and workforce management, network and infrastructure management and building security services.
Key features include:
Hosted Dispatch: M4 Dispatch Manager allows local businesses to manage vehicles and service orders in conjunction with the FMS satellite-based fleet management system. Businesses can visualize, schedule and manage mobile fleets based on geographic location and availability, as well as monitor speed, gas mileage and idle times.
Hosted Network Management: M4 Building is used in conjunction with the M4 MMS Data Integration Engine and business-side SNMP-based network management tools. It enables businesses to geographically visualize in real-time where each piece of equipment is located, which employee has it, and which port it is connected to.
Hosted Security: Using a combination of M4 Building and M4 Dispatch Manager, businesses can alert customers to building security risks such as open doors, as well as provide online security cameras and RFID/geo-fencing for asset tracking.
